Terms of use

1. About these terms
AllahServants (allahservants.com) is a free Islamic platform run by AbodyStudio Limited. It offers the Quran with translations and recitations, prayer times, Hijri dates, duas and other tools for learning and worship. These terms apply whenever you use the site. By using it, you accept them. The privacy policy and the cookies policy are part of these terms.
2. A free service
- The site is free for everyone, wherever you live. You do not need an account to read the Quran, listen to recitations or look up prayer times.
- There are no advertisements on the site.
- When donations are offered, giving is voluntary and is never needed to use any part of the site. If you give, you pay on the payment provider's own secure page, and your card details never reach us.
3. Your account
- An account is optional. It lets you keep bookmarks, notes, a reading plan, your questions and your preferences.
- You sign in with your email address only. There is no password: we send you a single-use link, valid for 15 minutes, together with a 6-digit code.
- Keep your email account safe, because anyone who can read your email can sign in to your account.
- Use your own email address. One person, one account.
- Accounts are for people who are old enough under the law of their country to accept these terms, or who have the permission of a parent or guardian.
- You can delete your account at any time from Preferences.
4. Respectful conduct
Please use the site with the respect you would show in a mosque or a class. You must not:
- send spam, advertise, or sell goods or services;
- insult, harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
- pretend to be another person, a teacher or a member of the team;
- share the private information of other people;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the site;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
Moderators may remove content that breaks these rules. They may also suspend or close an account that breaks them, especially when it happens again.
5. Religious content
- The Quran text, translations, recitations and duas are shown as received from their named sources, without changes. Each source is credited on the site.
- The site is not a fatwa service. For questions about your own situation, please consult a qualified scholar where you live.
- When questions and answers are offered, the answers are written by verified teachers and checked by a second teacher. They are general guidance, not a ruling on your personal case.
6. Prayer times and dates
- Prayer times are calculated for the city you choose, from its position and a calculation method that you can change in Preferences. They may differ by a few minutes from the times published by your local authorities or mosque.
- Hijri dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar. The dates of Ramadan and the two Eids shown in advance are expected dates. The actual dates depend on the sighting of the moon and on the announcement where you live.
- When in doubt, follow your local mosque.
7. Content and licences
- The Quran text in the Uthmani script comes from the Tanzil Project (tanzil.net). It is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence (CC BY 3.0), reproduced verbatim without any change, and credited.
- Each translation belongs to its translator and publisher. It is shown with their names and its source, such as QuranEnc, Quran Foundation or Tanzil. Please respect the conditions they set before reusing a translation.
- Recitations are streamed from mp3quran.net and EveryAyah.com. Duas come from Hisn al-Muslim (hisnmuslim.com). They remain the work of their owners and are credited.
- The site's own design and code belong to AbodyStudio Limited. You are welcome to share links to any page.
8. Questions you send
- When questions and answers are offered, a question you send may be published on the site with its answer, so that others can benefit from it. By sending it, you agree to this.
- Your email address is never published. A question appears with your first name only, or without any name.
- Do not include details in your question that could identify you or other people.
9. Availability
We work to keep the site running well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, pause or stop a feature, for example for maintenance or when a source is no longer available.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, AbodyStudio Limited is not responsible for loss or damage that results from using the site or from being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited. You remain responsible for what you send or publish on the site.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the site changes or when the law requires it. We announce changes on the site, and the date of the last update is shown on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by —. If the consumer protection rules of the country where you live give you more rights, those rules still apply to you.
