Dr. Khadija Aboudi

Keep it personal and short: “It is a month of fasting that the Quran describes as a way to grow in God-consciousness. For me it is a reset.” Then ask them a question back. Invite with wisdom and good instruction.

This week: Quran journaling. Bring a notebook and choose one verse that stayed with you this month. We write three lines each: what it says, what it means to me, one small action.

Jazakum Allahu khayran for this thread. A small practice that helps many of my students: write the verse on a card, and when the hard moment comes, read it slowly with the translation, then make your own dua in your own words. The Quran itself pairs patience with prayer.
