Translation

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

30:1New

الٓمٓ۝١

Alif, Lām, Meem.

30:2New

غُلِبَتِ ٱلرُّومُ۝٢

The Byzantines have been defeated

30:3New

فِىٓ أَدْنَى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ۝٣

In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome

30:4New

فِى بِضْعِ سِنِينَ لِلَّهِ ٱلْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِنۢ بَعْدُ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ۝٤

Within three to nine years. To Allāh belongs the command [i.e., decree] before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice

30:5New

بِنَصْرِ ٱللَّهِ يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ۝٥

In the victory of Allāh. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
