Translation

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

56:1New

إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ۝١

When the Occurrence occurs,

56:2New

لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ۝٢

There is, at its occurrence, no denial.

56:3New

خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌ۝٣

It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].

56:4New

إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ رَجًّا۝٤

When the earth is shaken with convulsion

56:5New

وَبُسَّتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ بَسًّا۝٥

And the mountains are broken down, crumbling
